Brian will be leading a Lenten spirit journey utilizing the spirit practice of "Lectio Divina", Latin for "divine reading". This spirit practice uses meditation, silence, and staged conversation which begins with silence, move to one/two words, then a phrase, and then sharing from the heart as participants engage with Scripture as a living story. Each week we will “sit with” the scripture story for the upcoming Sunday.
When we gather, the spirit practice of Lectio Divina will occur for the first hour of the gathering with the last half hour involving creative space for artistic and/or theological play. Each session is complete in itself so participants can attend all, some, or even just once.
Zoom sessions on Tuesday, February 28th to March 28th except on March 7th when we will meet on Monday March 6th. Registration is necessary for the zoom session in order to get the link.
