We Welcome You Just as You Are
First United is a supportive and inclusive faith community that provides a place to explore and deepen one’s spirituality. As a friendly and caring community with a mix of all ages, families, and individuals from a variety of religious backgrounds, we join together in community with our strengths and weaknesses, our health and our brokenness. We provide a safe environment to question, to heal, and to become part of a community.
During this Season of COVID-19, we are "being church" by practicing physical distancing through spirit nearing on-line.
To the right, is information about our on-line activities. These activities are ongoing, happening weekly and will continue throughout May and June.
Here is a video of welcome by our Minister, Brian Cornelius, https://youtu.be/h7xSIGJngfE
If you look in the Blog to the left, you can read Pandemic Reflections in dialogue with Scripture stories by Brian Cornelius. These began on Sunday March 15th and have continued every Sunday.
We are an Affirming Congregation that fully welcomes and includes persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
Sunday Services (11:15 a.m)
Our Sunday services are joyful and creatively provide a contemporary expression of the Christian faith. Each week we remind ourselves that “we are not alone” by gathering as a community.
Activities during the Week
