Our peace pole is a monument that displays the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in 8 different languages. The message is often called a peace prayer. It is an initiative of the Rotary Club of Ottawa West and a partnership between First United and All Saints Westboro. We consulted with an Indigenous representative of the Anishnaabeg Algonquin for the translation on the pole.
