Amidst the ongoing violence and deprivation in Gaza and the West Bank, the Focus on Palestine team invites you to participate in a Vigil of Lament and Witness for the hundreds of thousands of Palestinians killed, wounded, uprooted, starved and traumatized by Israel’s ongoing genocide.
This “come and go” vigil will take place on Pentecost Sunday, May 24th from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Chapel at First United. All are welcome at this mostly silent 9-hour vigil with opportunity for candle lighting and, at regular intervals, bidding prayers, special readings, and Palestinian music.
