Tkaronto is the Mohawk word for Toronto.  While in Toronto, Ray Morin, a Metis cartoonist from Vancouver, meets Jolene Peltier who is an Anishinaabe artist from Los Angeles.  Their encounter surfaces struggles for both of them as creative professionals living in urban settings, their connection with their ancestral heritage, as well as questions of language, religion, spirituality, and relationships.


We invite you to gather in the chapel between 6:45pm and 7:15pm to greet one another, have a snack, and get ready. 
The movie will begin at 7:15 sharp.
Following each movie (1½ to 2 hours), there is an optional facilitated conversation.
